Privacy Policy

What information CaseFly collects, why, and what you can do about it, in plain English.

Effective date: September 30, 2026

This policy covers caseflyconsulting.com, The CaseFly Brief newsletter, and our blog at casefly.beehiiv.com (together, the "site"). "CaseFly," "we" and "us" mean CaseFly LLC. CaseFly provides education and consulting on AI adoption. It does not provide legal services, and nothing you send us through the site creates an attorney–client relationship.

What we collect

  • Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address, and whether you open or click our emails.
  • Consultation bookings. If you book a call, the name, email and any notes you give our scheduling service.
  • Messages you send us. Your name, organization, email and whatever you choose to include when you email us or submit a request form.
  • Basic technical information. Like most websites, the services that deliver our pages may receive your IP address, browser type and the page you came from.

Please don't send us client names or confidential client information. We don't need it to answer your question, and we can't protect it the way your own firm or counsel would.

How we use it

  • To send you the newsletter and resources you asked for.
  • To schedule and prepare for calls, briefings and CLE sessions.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which articles are useful so we can write better ones.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Services we use

We rely on a few outside providers to run the site. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy:

  • Beehiiv hosts our newsletter and blog and stores subscriber email addresses.
  • Calendly handles consultation bookings.
  • Namecheap hosts this website.
  • Google Fonts supplies the fonts on our pages, which means your browser requests them from Google.

Cookies

Our own pages don't set advertising or tracking cookies. The newsletter sign-up form and booking tool are provided by Beehiiv and Calendly, and they may use cookies to work properly.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every newsletter.
  • Ask us questions about the information we have about you by emailing jstubbs@flexlegalteam.com. We'll respond to requests as required by the law that applies to you.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as it's useful for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires. Unsubscribing stops newsletter emails.

Visitors from the EU, EEA and UK

CaseFly is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States by us and the providers listed above. If you're in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR may apply to your information.

  • Legal bases. We send the newsletter based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. We respond to messages and bookings because you asked us to, and we run and improve the site based on our legitimate interest in doing so.
  • Your rights. Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Email us to make a request, and we'll respond as the GDPR requires.
  • Complaints. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
  • Transfers. Because we're in the United States, your information is transferred there. Our providers handle international transfers under their own safeguards, described in their privacy policies.

Children

The site is written for legal professionals. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the newsletter.
